Our specialties

  • How do I sign up and start service?

You can get started by simply requesting a free quote through our website, by text, or by phone. We’ll ask for a few details (like your location and number of dogs) and then confirm that your address is within our service area. Once we provide your quote and you approve it, we’ll schedule your first cleanup at a convenient time. Getting on our route is quick and easy – and remember, if you choose a recurring cleanup plan, your first visit is free as a welcome bonus!

  • How much does your dog poop cleanup service cost?

Our pricing is straightforward and based on your specific needs. Cleanups start around $25.99 per visit. The exact rate can vary depending on factors like the number of dogs, the size of your yard, the frequency of service, and how much waste has accumulated if we’re doing an one-time, deep cleanup, or initial cleanups. We’ll provide a transparent quote upfront (with no hidden fees). You’ll find that our rates are very competitive for the Seattle area – especially considering the time and hassle you’ll save not having to scoop poop yourself!

  • How often can I schedule cleanings?

We offer a range of scheduling options to fit your needs. Most of our clients choose once-a-week service, which keeps the average yard consistently clean. We also offer twice-weekly visits for multi-dog households or high-traffic yards that need extra attention, as well as bi-weekly (every other week) or monthly service for those who require less frequent cleanups. If you just need a one-time cleanup, we can do that too. You’re free to increase or decrease your service frequency whenever you want – and if you have a special schedule request (for example, three times a week or every 10 days), just ask! We do our best to accommodate what works for you.

  • What areas do you service?

We currently serve the greater Seattle, WA area and many surrounding communities in King County. Our core service area includes all of Seattle and nearby cities like Shoreline, Mercer Island, Burien, White Center, Renton, Tukwila, Des Moines, Normandy Park, and Kent, among others. If you’re not sure we cover your neighborhood, just ask... chances are, if you’re in the Seattle metro area, we 'Can Doo' it! You can also check our Service Area page for a full list of cities and areas we operate in. We’re always expanding our routes, so if your locale isn’t listed, let us know and we might be able to reach you (or notify you when we do).

Why Us

Our specialties

  • Do I need to be home, and what about my dog during the visit?

Nope, you do not need to be home as long as our team can access your yard. Many clients are at work or out when we come by, which is totally fine. Just ensure any gates or entry points are unlocked on your service day, and we’ll take care of the rest. If you have an outdoor lock code or special entry instructions, we can handle that too. As for your dog, it depends on their temperament. Friendly, social dogs can absolutely be in the yard while we scoop (we love meeting your pups!). If your dog is nervous, protective, or doesn’t like strangers in their space, it’s best to keep them indoors or in a secure area during the cleanup for everyone’s safety. We always send a text alert about 30–60 minutes before arrival, so you’ll know we’re coming and can prepare as needed. And rest assured, we will never leave a gate open - we double-check latches and send you a photo of your closed gate when we’re done, so you know your property is secure.

  • What do you do with the waste after you pick it up?

We bag it and trash it so you don’t have to. Specifically, our technician will gather all the dog waste and double-bag it in heavy-duty bags. By default, we then dispose of those bags in your outdoor trash can (or whichever bin you prefer). This method is clean, sealed, and in compliance with all local waste disposal rules – in fact, the City of Seattle recommends bagging and trashing pet waste. If you would rather not use your garbage bin, we can haul away the bagged waste for a small extra fee per visit (available in certain areas), just let us know your preference when signing up. Either way, you’ll never have to deal with the poop or smell; we handle it for you in a safe and sanitary manner.

  • What if it rains or snows? Will my service be rescheduled?

Rain: We work in the rain! A little Seattle drizzle (or downpour) is part of life here, and our team won’t melt. We perform cleanups year-round in all sorts of typical Pacific Northwest weather. If it’s raining on your service day, you can still expect us to show up as scheduled and do a thorough job. We dress appropriately and the rain actually helps rinse away residual mess. Snow or Extreme Weather: In the case of heavy snow, ice, or other dangerous conditions (which are rarer in Seattle but can happen), we may temporarily postpone service for safety. If a severe storm makes your yard inaccessible, we’ll notify you and resume service as soon as possible once things clear up. Our goal is to keep your yard clean consistently, and we’ll communicate about any weather-related schedule changes.

  • Are you insured? Is your service safe for my pets and lawn?

Yes, absolutely. Can Doo Pet Waste Service is fully licensed and insured, which means we carry proper liability coverage for our work on your property – this protects you and gives you peace of mind. All our technicians are also background-checked and trained, so you can trust the person coming into your yard. Safety is a top priority for us: we use tools and techniques that are effective yet pet-friendly. In fact, we sanitize our equipment between yards to prevent any chance of spreading germs from one home to another. And if you opt for our deodorizing spray add-on, rest assured it’s a veterinarian-approved, pet-safe treatment that won’t harm your grass or plants. Our goal is to leave your yard cleaner and safer than we found it – and to give you total confidence in the quality and professionalism of our service.
